GRADUATES BECOMING USELESS AND HOPELESS – THE CASE OF GHANA

Is this a holy thing to see!!!

Graduates with degrees, Masters, PhDs carrying their certificates with a cover letters in a basket toiling, loitering and harboring around the street as scavengers. The hell of being a Graduate in Ghana

I recently heard that 17000 retirees are still on contract working. I know that most of them never gave their real age when working but rather their football age.

How efficient and effective will such an old person be?

Most of these retirees don’t have degrees not to talk of masters, Most of these retirees can’t use today’s modern technology. Their style of management is bogus.

What do I call this? SELFISH, GREED, RAPACIOUS, GRASPING, INSATIABLE, VARACIOUS… help me add more synonyms because I verse (angry)
I remember I read a book titled “WHY NATIONS FAILS” by Daron Acemoglu and the answer was simple from start to finish “INSTITUTIONS …. INSTITUTIONS ….INSTITUTIONS”.

Hmm, Ghana is a very interesting country located on a “rich yet poor” continent called Africa.

There is a lot of drama in this country, I swear…. There is never a day that we don’t hear new stories. Stories that will make you cringe. Some will shoot up your blood pressure, some will make you feel as if you are dreaming, some will make you go crazy, some will make you wonder if we have leaders in this country, and others will make you sad, soo sad to be a Ghanaian. At times I question God why he made me a Ghanaian.

It is only in Ghana where people will start showering praise on you and donate thousands of cedis to your relatives after you are dead and gone.

It is only in Ghana where someone will be eating and still complain of hunger.

It is only in Ghana where a trotro mate will be fighting a passenger over 10 pesewas.

It is only in Ghana where employers will be asking for 5years working experience from a fresh graduate.

Our leaders and politicians have failed us all. It may be a time people will start loosing interest in education because today education is no more the key to success.

To complete reading this article, read Job 12:12 and it will be the end for now.

Hmmm. God is always wonderful.

The thought of an unemployed graduate.
