*THE FORTUNATE BLACK SHEEP* MR. JUNK DAGLOCK MISERY (J.D.M) Since time immemorial, I learnt that a black sheep is used to refer to "a member of a family or a group who is regarded as a disgrace to it". The expression is derived from the 18th century proverb, _"There is a black sheep in every flock"._ And the meaning has not changed even in this age as another black sheep has been born on the northern land of Ghana. Mr. Junk Daglock Misery popularly known as *JDM*, Others called him Statesman, I called him a dishonorable leader. Here is a so called statesman calling his own people he once serve as *PIGS* Here is a so called statesman calling all those enjoying Free SHS *PIGS* Here is a so called statesman calling all those kayayei enjoying tax free as *PIGS* _I can't think far ... I can't think madness_ (In Amissah Arthur tone). This is the lowest ebb a former Boss could discend to. Describing fellow human beings as *PIGS* is not somethi

ITS A REPUBLIC DAY Independent Ghana came of age proper on 1st July, 1960 when the Queen of England's Governor General finally said goodbye to us and went home. As we celebrate this special republic day of our dear motherland, let us treat all equal. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. United we stand, Divided we fall, Let’s renew our pledge to unitedly protect our country from corrupt minded officials and incompetent leaders. Thousands laid down their lives so that our country breath this day… *_Never forget their sacrifice._* Others might have forgotten but Never Can I. I lift the Flag Of My Country  Very High. Let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of Ghana. Honoring with you the glory and power of our free homeland. I LOVE GHANA BUT I LOVE NPP MORE Am a Citizen not a spectator Long live Ghana Long live NPP Yeboah Benjamin A Crusader yebenjamin.blog

A STRONG CASE FOR HON. GEROGE YAW BOAKYE The Selfless Leader - Hon. George Yaw Boakye From Yeboah Benjamin Desk...... Asunafo south, just like any other district of other nations, have experienced and continue what I call, naunces of life, the good, the bad and the ugly. At the times all hope and dreams were shuttered, came one man, whom I called the messiah, others call him "Sompahene" (Good servant) , Hon. George Yaw Boakye. He has been trenched with the ranked and file of our dear party, committed to the ideals and cause of the NPP. In 2004, Ex. President Kuffour led administration did a fantastic job by bringing local government close to the doorstep of people in Asunafo South where there was lack of most social amenities. There come Sompahene (Hon. George Yaw Boakye) as the District Chief Executive. During his tenure, he contributed a lot to Asunafo south and Ghana as a whole. Due to his hardwork he was adjudged the second best DCE in Brong Ahafo and th

THE COLLAPSE OF  NHIS... The blame Game Nations fail economically because of poor management and extractive institutions. These institutions keep poor countries poor and prevent them from embarking on a path to economic growth. This is true today in Ghana. As I believe that we can create wealth through health in our country, the recent issue concerning Ghana NHIS will worsen the poverty rate if not addressed. Yes I admit that am very inquisitive, I have conducted my research on NHIS dealings. Is a fact and on record. Check it out ..... * Levies collected by the Value Added Tax (VAT) service and Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) on behalf of NHIA Scheme were not ceded to the Authority on time. As a result CAGD owed a total amount of GH¢113,065,642 and GH¢185,543,194.77 for 2008 and 2009 respectively and could adversely impact on the smooth running of the Authority’s operations. * A total amount of GH¢56,418 was disbursed to various facilities without
THE MOMENT After the official release of the final MMDCEs list, I downladed the PDF, I scrolled down slowly to Brong Ahafo Region, I intentionally went to the column written MUNICIPAL/DISTRICT because I was little bit shaky to look through the names. I saw Asunafo South quickly as it was in the second row of that column. Sincerely I couldn't look at it immediately, I closed my eyes prayed to God to give me the strength. As I opened my eyes I heard my Mum shouting at the hall in twi *_yawieeeoo  yawieeee_* singing and giving praise to God. I boldly watch it and guess what ... The Man of the moment, The people's choice, The Chosen one, The leader of all leaders, The motivator and the inspirational drawer. Odeneho Osaedeayo Okokrodufo OSEI BONSU Nyameba SNR was the man chosen. What a day, Today is the day. The day of all days. The day for the masses. The day for the youth. The day of the change effect. Today is the day I have felt the change we went to the polls to vote.

NANA ADDO OCCULT GOVERNMENT CLAIM

NANA ADDO OCCULT GOVERNMENT CLAIM Yeboah Benjamin writes ....... Ghanaians has recently experienced rampant deaths from committing suicide to waterfalls disaster taking more than 50 lives ( I stand to be corrected) within this short time from January to March 2017. This has raised a lot of concerned and some Ghanaians especially the opposition NDC are accusing the new government of these disasters. It hurts and pain to hear this noblemen and leaders like Joseph Yamin, Alhaji Bature, Mahama Ayariga and their colleagues associating this tragedies to the Nana - Bawumiah government. Leaders are great not because they are powerful but their ability to inspire others.  Does this propaganda inspire others? UNLESS GOD CONDEMNS YOU, THE CONDEMNATION OF MAN IS NOTHING Brethren in Christ, let us open our Bible to the book of Exodus chapter 23 verse 1. For better understanding, the Roman Catholic should open to the Fante version, Presbyterians should open to the Akwapem version,. Pasto

THE DEVIL IN DETAIL ...... PART I

TH E DEVIL IN DETAIL ...... PART I The ertswhile government failed Ghanaians Yeboah Benjamin writes....... On Thursday February 21 2013, there come a government who delivers his maiden state of the nation address to the Ghanaian populace that in his first term as President, he will focus on delivering on the following pillars....... 1. Putting the people first 2. A strong and resilient economy 3. Expanding Infrastructure 4. Transparent and Accountable Governance. Now that his term has ended I will like to do some common sense analysis on these pillars. This publication will based on the first two pillars and the last two in The Devil in Detail II Most of this information are already out there but as  citizen and not a spectator, I deemed it necessary to present my take as usual. These acts I see it to be wickedness .....I described it the devil in details while most called it daylight robbery, others also called it loot and share. Putting the people first Putting th

110 Ministers

110 MINISTERS Yeboah Benjamin writes ...... A lot of people are voicing out their views on different platforms on the size of the ministers after H.E reveal another 50 deputy ministers and additional 4 ministers of state taking the number to 110. As usual I present my common sense analysis. After all, this is my space. Hmmmmm ...... Calculation upon calculation, analysis upon analysis, comments upon comments… Asԑm oooooo 110 V8, 110 salon cars, 110 police guards, 110 accommodation.   Naïve!!! The sickness of minority and propaganda is becoming serious in the country. The constitution of this beloved country allow the president to appoint ministers of state at any size that he deemed necessary. I never heard Nana Addo and his team promising lean government but rather he promised to fix the economy. Here is a government who said he is in a hurry. If bringing more hand on board will help him deliver the promises he made to Ghanaians.... Why not give him the benefit of the dou

THE TRANS - VOLTA TOGOLAND SEPARATISTS

THE TRANS - VOLTA TOGOLAND SEPARATISTS Yeboah Benjamin writes ...... On 7th march 2017, police in the Volta Region arrested leaders of a group called Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSFG) based in Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana " agitating for the restoration of so called Western Togoland as a state to declare independence for western Togoland on 9th May 2017. According to the leader of the group..... The Western Togoland were plebiscite citizens in Ghana and not until a declaration was on 9th May 2017, the people will remain appendix to the former Gold coast  (now Ghana). They also claim that " ...... World historical documents had revealed that western Togoland was a state and not a territory of Ghana. Based on their argument and As a concern citizen not a spectator, I present my take to make the Good people of Ghana know that  their argument doesn't hold. First of all I will throw highlight on the history of Trans-Volta Togoland British Togoland, officially t

_The Asempa Budget_

*Budget of the century........   " _The Asempa Budget_"* *_Yeboah Benjamin writes_......* At the times all hope and dreams were shuttered, Ghanaians cried for change ....... It was indeed granted with the NPP emphatic victory. Today in parliament, there was the budget highlight which I called the budget of the century, others called it *"the  asempa  (Good news) budget"*. This is the budget Ghanaians want. The budget that focus on productivity, job creation and low taxes, the budget that will sustain our debt, the budget that will take us to the promise, the budget that will lift Ghanaians from grass to grace. *_And what are the minority saying_ .... 419* ... *_Shame_* _Ain't you ashame_....  You still have the gut to talk .. I see The NDC government have lied, lied and lied and even in opposition they are still lying. How I wish we could follow them to opposition and still vote against them so they completely retire from politics. With time, the ND

Blame South Africa Leaders for Xenophobic Attacks

Blame Politicians for xenophobic Attacks ..... . By Benjamin Yeboah  Yesterday the war cry was " kill the Boer ", Today the war cry is " Kill the BLACK " ..... What will tomorrow war cry be .... We live to see. Black on Black violence. Huh!!! The picture in south Africa for long time looked comparatively rosy, at least from the northern border of Zimbabwe. Doing my common sense analysis as usual, I realise that combination of cowardice and incompetence of their political leaders across the spectrum has fanned the flame of xenophobic hatred. I present my take .... After all this is my  space. For all its progress, South Africa still faces extraordinary challenges of which jobs for young people is perhaps the most important. With approximately a third of continental GDP, South Africa has failed to increase formal sector employment sufficiency. The South Africa treasury has noted that 13.1million South African are employed. The country would need to emplo

The Bribery Allegation – Common Sense Analysis (No Hard Feelings) by Yeboah Benjamin

The Bribery Allegation – Common Sense Analysis (No Hard Feelings) by Yeboah Benjamin Following the bribery allegation claim by MP for Bawku central, Hon. Mahama Ayariga to the effect that a ministerial nominee for Energy and Petroleum, Boakye Agyarko, who has since been sworn into office, attempted to bribe members of the minority on the Appointment committee, to facilitate his recommendation for approval. People voiced out their views looking at the issue from different angles on different platform I have the chance to listen to. I present my take on this allegation. I understand perfectly well that a committee has been set – up headed by Hon. Joe Ghartey to investigate the matter and any statement that will be made leading to early judgment is subject to contempt. But as a concern citizen, I have decided to make a common sense analysis on the issue. After all, this is my space. Hon. Mahama Ayariga, Mp for Bawku central constituency has alleged on an Accra based Radio Gold that
*THE SUFFERING OF MR. OSEI BONSU* Daa (Father) as the youth called him simply because he is the Father for all. He is an addent member of NPP and commands respect in the Asunafo south district and Brong  Ahafo as a whole,he has also  been the driven force of the youth in the district. His loyal and dedicated service to the party has cost him a lot to the extent of loosing his job and his life being threatened on several occasions. Former Chairman (Asunafo south) of our beloved party was a teacher in the Asunafo south district. Due to his political hardwork and support he was appointed as the NADMO coordinator in Asunafo south district under H.E former President Kuffour led administration in 2004. During his tenure in this position he contributed towards mobilising people at various society to support governmental programmes. Under his chairmanship, through his hardwork Hon. George Yaw Boakye (NPP) won the election ahead of Hon. Eric Opoku (NDC) who was incumbent in 2008 even though

My Take

*MY TAKE* A huge proportion of our young children are going waste on account  of high cost involved in our second cycle institution. High admission fees, high feeding fees has been a barrier for the poor to attend SHS. I'm afraid, the next generation of our country won't be much better with majority of them being under - educated. I'm devastated!! Friends if you love this country ......  and am guessing you do. Let us all be patriotic not spectators. The erstwhile Mahama (H.E) led administration was preaching about quality education with the view of building 200 community day school which they claim 123 is at various development stages. I know it was suppose to be *quantity education rather than quality education* . I may one way or the other agree with them as the word *quality is relative*. But I may ask what is quality to the lays man point of view? Quality education with no textbooks, no or untrained teachers , no school building. Quality education is where rece
*THE HERITAGE FUND* Last week hearing a lot of heritage fund brouhaha. I sat down thinking what at all does the said fund entails. A lot runs through my mind asking myself numerous questions including what is this heritage fund? .... Where it is invested? ... How much interest does it earn annually? Who suppose to benefit from this fund? I was immobilize with shock when I started finding solutions to some of these questions. The word heritage as I understand is something that can be passed from one generation to the next, something that can be conserved. Ghana Heritage Fund (GHF) was setup with the aim of securing the future of the next generation. *Fair enough!!!* Out of Ghana's share in the oil revenue 9% is set aside as the heritage fund. *Bravoo*👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 *My question here is who are the future leaders?* As at the year ending 31st December 2016, the actual amount plus its interest earn over the six year period was *$ 277 million*. The interest earn on this fund is

My Country

THE POOR ARE NOT US Is this a holy thing to see. In a rich and fruitful land, Ghana which is endowed with abundant natural wealth. Babes reduce to misery, Cholera recording the highest OPD cases, embargo on employment, poor road networks, lack of infrastructure, fluctuations of the currency, high taxes, to sum it all high cost of living. I hate this grinding poverty!!! My mum always says God loves Ghana more than any other country. Although I normally laugh over this assertion, upon careful reflection, I think is true. Ghana is indeed blessed with lots of resources naming a few are, precious metals like gold, diamond, silver, bauxite etc. Cocoa, timber, water bodies and black gold (oil) I just heard Donald Trump recent speech and he said "Blackman is a symbol of poverty" .... Too harsh. I say THE POOR ARE NOT US ...... Is Ghana @ 60?😭😭 Rise up my motherland!!! Rise up Ghana!!! The thought of a patriotic citizen not a spectator By Yeboah Benjamin Association

The Time is now. Free SHS is Sustainable, Affordable and Quality will not be Sacrificed By Yeboah Benjamin

The Time is now. Free SHS is Sustainable, Affordable and Quality will not be Sacrificed By Yeboah Benjamin The free SHS concept is not a novel. It is an ideal foreseen by the 1992 constitution. For this I congratulate H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia for shifting the agenda from personal politics and ethnocentrism to the core issues of governance. Recently following the speech His Excellency delivered during the 60th Anniversary of Okuapeman Senior high School, a lot of concerns has been raised and I have heard few concerning its relevance (importance), Quality, Sustainability and Affordability. This four concerns have been voiced out on several platform I have had the occasion to listen to, I have my take on each, after all this is my space. On Relevance  The problem in our educational system is multifaceted including insufficient materials, lack of teacher motivation, poor infrastructure to mention but few. I cannot boast of knowing it all.
