*THE SUFFERING OF MR. OSEI BONSU*
Daa (Father) as the youth called him simply because he is the Father for all. He is an addent member of NPP and commands respect in the Asunafo south district and Brong Ahafo as a whole,he has also been the driven force of the youth in the district. His loyal and dedicated service to the party has cost him a lot to the extent of loosing his job and his life being threatened on several occasions.
Former Chairman (Asunafo south) of our beloved party was a teacher in the Asunafo south district. Due to his political hardwork and support he was appointed as the NADMO coordinator in Asunafo south district under H.E former President Kuffour led administration in 2004. During his tenure in this position he contributed towards mobilising people at various society to support governmental programmes.
Under his chairmanship, through his hardwork Hon. George Yaw Boakye (NPP) won the election ahead of Hon. Eric Opoku (NDC) who was incumbent in 2008 even though NPP lost the general(presidential) election. In 2008, Hon. Eric Opoku ( the then Deputy Regional Minister B/A) masterminded his transfer from Asunafo south to Bawku Central in the northern Region. Due to his selfless and dedicated service for the party, he quits his job with the aim of encouraging the youth and campaigning for our dear party. He was the brain behind the formation of Crusaders for NPP and Ambassadors for NPP (all being youth wing in Asunafo south). He was the only person who was able to convinced the Omanhene of Kukuom traditional council Nana Kwaku Atakyi to support the construction of the theatre ward in kukuom health center serving people of both Asunafo South and north district which has been the first of its kind in the district. His life has been constantly threatened on several occasions by NDC members in the district especially the youth in sankore. He has been beaten up on about more than ten occasions just because he is not on their said. Upon all this, he has never gave up and have continued to stay loyal and focus. It has been hardly that he slept in his own room for all these years. I quite remember recently during the Electoral Commission Exhibition exercise he was chased to the bush and he nearly lost his life, it took some good Samaritan to rescue him from the sankore dodowa forest where he was caught and beaten up mercilessly.
H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has done splendid and awesome job in his appointments. I believe and trust in his competence in doing better Job for Ghana.
We the youth of Asunafo south respect the decision of His Excellency and will support any person he deem fit to occupy the DCE position in the district.
Is our wish that the Good Lord will touch the heart of our President and make this decision based on loyalty and hardwork.
